Angela moved to the Coast in 2010 from her home state of Michigan. She comes to us via her husband, Tim, who was an employee of Knight Abbey many years ago. She has been with us since May 2018 and has been a wonderful addition.
Angela has a very large family (nine children: mine, his and ours, plus godchildren), so there isn’t always a lot of time for extra activities. When she does have an otherwise unoccupied moment, she says just a few minutes to sit and breathe is great…and that breathing really is under appreciated.
Besides family, Angela’s faith is the most important thing in her life. She works hard every day to be a better Christian. This shows in many aspects of her life, including community outreach.
Angela is the founder of a community outreach program called People of Passion (POP). POP provides Thanksgiving dinner to First Responders (Fire, Police and EMTs). They also provide sack lunches to the homeless 1-3 times a year at Feed My Sheep.
POP is currently in the planning stages of a program that will help women transition from prison to life in the outside world.
